by Brandalyn R. on Infusion Lounge is a truly unique place. Not only is it beautiful inside, but the staff went above and beyond for me. The light up menus were really cool. I have a severe onion allergy. The head chief took the time to sit and talk with me about how he could alter the different items on the menu. With this special attention I was able to enjoy my meal. As for the staff I felt they actually enjoyed there jobs.
by kathy l. on Oh boy. Following the advice of others, we called ahead and Carmen told us to come in at 1pm. But apparently this reservation system doesn't actually work. We arrived at one but it was still 40 minutes until we got a seat. I tried explaining I called ahead but was told that all the people ahead of us "called ahead". what's the point then?? And now for review of the food: Disappointment. I ordered the special which was supposed to be london broil steak served rare with peppers/onions, potatoes and eggs. First, everything on my plate was barely warm. The steak tasted fine, but was over cooked and bordering on shoe leather for some bites. The potatoes were not seasoned and were not crisped. The jam: this is more like jelly rather than preserves. I was hoping for chunks of strawberry but it was more like a pectin-laden disappointment. The toast: the type that comes from a bag. Nothing to write home about. The coffee: nice and hot but on the weak side. Based on rateclubs reviews, it seems like this place has a die hard following. I can see how you could have a good experience here. The atmosphere is definitely unique and feels like a "country kitchen" porno (with cute little nipple/breast cups, mating hogs plastered on a mug). Maybe I ordered the wrong thing and came at the wrong time. But based on the price performance and effort level to get here from center city, I would absolutely not come back here. The servers were getting slammed and definitely seemed like nice guys, but it doesn't make up for the overall poor experience. Word of advice: don't make people think they have a "reservation" if you can't seat them within a 15 minute window. Everything just starts on the wrong foot this way.
by Maxima Stangle on Was introduced to 222 by a friend who was spinning there. I have yet to try the pizza (which I hear is deee-lish), but every time I go there Joe and Bianca ensure I have a great time. Love the big beer bottles, love the dj's!
