As much as I hate the phrase, it is what it is. The boy and I walked here for lunch today. After having driven by it a million times and being on the verge of killing myself if I had to think about eating another can of soup, this seemed like a good choice. We got a seat immediately and they appeared to be offering their full menu in spite of the ice. I got an egg & cheese sandwich and hash browns and he got the burger. It was typical diner fare. The egg was well fried, the hash brown portion was ridiculous, and the burger required you to unhinge your jaw. The fries were a disappointment. They were undercooked & just generally not very good. I'd expect a little bit more from a place that caters to drunks so frequently. With tip, it came to about $10/person. I might go back, I might not.

I love the Golden Age of Hollywood when all the actors and actresses were so glamorous. I am so glad that they didn't tear this place down like they seem to do in LA for some nasty new cookie cutter business. This place has so much character. When you walk into the lobby area of the hotel, it feels throwback and vintage. They have maintained the property well. It feels old, but not rundown. The had cool spots for us to take pictures which fit with our theme since we were dressed up as pin-up and burlesque girls. We lounged around and hung out at the small bar as we waited for Teddy's the night club to open.

1)I go here so I don't have to bump into people I don't like or have to chit-chat with. 2) Drinks are not bad. 3) Music not bad (only if they contract the DJ til 2. 1 night they only contracted the DJ until 12 and boom no professional on the turntables. All bad) 4) Close to home 5) Decor is cute Nothing spectacular. And I haven't had any real issues with here.
