I come here with friends on Wednesday night for Latin Night. I usually try to get in before 10 (complimentary valet and free entry). Also, from 9-10 they offer free dance classes - salsa and bachata. There is usually a good mix of people that come to these classes. Ladies, you don't have to worry about dancing with each other. There are plenty of men to lead us. Yay!! I really enjoy the music selection as well as the occasional live band. The only two things that disappoint me about Tongue and Groove is the bar in the middle of the main dance floor. It encourages a lot of traffic throughout the room and is not helpful to those dancing. Also, the smoke is a turn off. I am not a big fan of smelling like an ash tray. All this aside, I will say that I am not turned off enough to not return.

Great club, fantastic music, wonderful band.  Drinks were not fantastic, but the music made up for it.

Why else would you want to go anywhere besides 111 Minna- its the spot, the place to be.  I've been there way too many times before but never taken the opportunity to write about it. Fantastic music and good drinks.  I usually get a variety of drinks but last night I ordered me some bottled beer: Chimay! Anu is usually a good place to hit after this joint shuts down.  There is another little spot around the street with ok crowd too.
