It's not like Bootie SF needs another amazing review...but I can't help myself. Went with a group of girls to DNA lounge this past Saturday because we'd heard of this thing called "Bootie" and wanted to check it out. I don't think any of us had a clue what we were in for; holy toledo, ohmyfreakingoodness...I think I fell in love, not just with the entire "Bootie" experience but the house-band Smash-Up Derby and specifically the lead singers Trixxie and Adrian....yeah, they were kind-of FaNTAstIC!!!! There was a line when we got there so we didn't make it in by 10pm so had to pay the entire $12 cover but whatever it was totally worth it. They have coat check (although the line was l-o-n-g) for $3....and for those cold ass SF nights I'm not into freezing my butt off in line so the coat check is appreciated. Of NOTE ***the bathroom situation is pretty damn good for a large crowd. They had plenty of stalls and for someone like me who is constantly getting that urge, not wasting valuable time in the toilet line is a huge, HUGE blessing. Only negative of entire night was one of the [random] guys I was dancing with asked me at one point "so, are you taking me home with you?" ....oh barf, sure he was fun to dance with but seriously...who says that???? Thank you BootieSF...I will be back next month!

After eating pounds upon pounds of bulgagi/galbi in K-town, the logical next step is to hit up Third Floor. This is a really chill place with cool ambient lighting, attentive table service and good bathrooms. The crowd favorite here is a mini keg of beer. My only gripe with this joint is that it isn't a very social environment. Everyone has their own table so it's kind of hard to strike up a convo with a stranger. I give it a solid 3*'s.
