I had fun. There was a 20 dollar cover charge, we talked them down to 10. We had been on the guestlist but it was already 12am. I like the inside, they let girls dance on the bar. Bathrooms are ok, not the worst I've seen. The music was really good. We had a nice VIP section with a friendly cocktailer. I'd go back if I go early!

I don't know how there can only be one review here.  It's easily accessible from the one train at Houston St.  S.O.B.s is one of the few places where the sultry salsa music is coming from a live band. Drinks are a little steep but with $5 admission before 7pm with included lessons, and it isn't a bad deal.  Careful though, this place gets packed before 10.  Novices need not worry.  There are rarely any snobbish dancers.  A little confidence and some know how, and you'll get the dance down easily.
