by dawn b. on Roe deserves 0 stars. Worse place EVER. So my twin and I told all our friends to come here this past Saturday for our bday. Worse idea ever! Bouncers were on some power trip or something. Granted, I was late getting there so I figure I wouldn't make the guestlist line. On my way to the back of the line, I saw my twin and other friends scattered in various position down the line. Since they were there for me, I went to hug and say hi to them. Retarded ass bouncer yells at me to get to the back. CHILL out ASSHOLE I just wanted to say hi, plus he saw the ppl i was with go to the back of the linei. So I'd have to agree, the bouncers are dicks. Also, I agree, they were totally not letting ppl in because that guestlist line was NOT moving.. maybe until 5 minutes before it closed!! So two of my boys got kicked out. One because he didn't have the right shoes (but it was weird because another dude had the same shoe and he was let in WTF?!). First off, the flyer sucked. The web sucked! There was no dresscode nor prices on that dumbass flyer or their website....if its not posted I assume it's chill...NOPE i was wrong. Then another guy got booted cuz he didnt have BUTT HUGGING jeans! If THIS dude got booted cuz his jeans were too "baggy" then ALL them guys in line shouldnt be able to get in. So after the douchebag bouncers, we told our whole party to leave. You can tell the bouncer saw his mistake when his face read, "O Shit" So his dickass said, "You can all stay. I can make an exception." Too late dickhead!! So the 30+ ppl who were willing to pay your $20 cover plus buy hella drinks are gonna take their service elsewhere. We went to Minna and I'm glad we went there instead! I HATE ROE.

My favorite thing about this place is that it's not some singles meat market where dudes try to keep you from getting your groove on with some lame come-on. People here seem to genuinely enjoy the music and want to get down and since that's what I'm all about this is the only club I truly like. I love that Miguel Migs has a regular party here, they make excellent top shelf margaritas, the prices are decent, the bathrooms are relatively clean and usable until closing, and it's not too crowded so you can actually move around on the dance floor. If you're looking more for a place stand around trying to look cool and meet women, try 1015 or Ruby Skye. Mighty's about phat beats, not hooking up.
