I have no idea how I found this place, and no idea how I never knew about it. During "Friday Adventure Lunch" where I just walk until I find somewhere worth stopping, I made it all the way west to the Hudson, then went to check out the commotion on the pier. Turns out, it's acutally a salvaged historic boat that was fished out of the Chesapeake ( http://nymag.com/listi...) with a bar and short order kitchen, tons of seating and tables (even a few couches), and surrounded by unparalleled views of the Hudson and scenic New Jersey (look at my profile, I have to say nice things about Dirty Jerz). The drinks were fairly priced ($4 brooklyn 12oz draft) and the food ($2.75 dog, $8 burger, $10 steak sandwich) was all pretty good and the salads ($6-10) all looked good as well. There is a full bar, so I can't wait to go back at night and really check out the scene. The boat will rock occasionally, so don't leave your sea legs at home.

The main attraction: this place has beds. Whoopdeedoo. It's probably best left to tourists that can go back to wherever they came from to say they went to bed with a stranger. I will say this, the sound system at this club is first rate. Unfortunately, people don't go clubbing only for the speakers. There were also a couple of times some of my friends were turned away because there were too many Asians already inside. Whack. $16 dollars for a shot of Petron? No thanks. If you want to go broke dancing with awkward 30-somethings that were never invited to a slumber party, this club is for you.
