I actually like this place! I went here with a friend for the Free Comedy shows they do every thursday...and I must say, we had a good time! Really good food and potent drinks! I'll be back soon! The Comedy show was funny! They had about 5 comedians...and 3 out of 5 were good and the headliner was Good too! But, be aware!!!! You have to Pay to park, pay to sit without eating or you have to order atleast 2 Items per person off the menu! So, eve though the comedy show and entry is marketed as being free....it's not really free! Expect to spend atleast $40..if your date is courteous! lol!

Nightclubs follow a distinct formula. 1) Build hype either actively (ads) or passively (giving off an underground in-the-know vibe), 2) take momentum from hype to pack the bar every night with models and high rollers, 3) fizzle out. Tenjune has been around for about 7 months now, and it is still going strong. Although this place isn't much to look at (it is essentially a box in the basement), it has held one of the hardest doors in New York, with one of the best crowds, be that on account of its mystique or promoters. As would be expected, the drinks are pricey, but the party is wild--save time and reserve a table.
