Doors, no hassle. Cover large. Drinks pricey. Too pricey. Tunes, sound system, attitudes great. This place always seem to deliver a great time. Sound is large and prominant, so you gotta want to get your groove on. Not for the weak of heart. Can't wait for BT or Tiesto or http://www.denmasterst...to play here... come on guys!

Music whores love Bimbo's! I rolled here post-superbowl with a group of rateclubs illuminati last night and saw the always awe inspiring M. Ward and Victoria Williams. Bimbo's is one my favorite places to see artists, a nice compromise between the small and rickety places such as Rickshaw Stop or Bottom of the Hill and the big joints like Bill Graham. Artists can get paid and we get a close up intimate experience.  The drinks are reasonable and there are multiple bars, and if you're hungry they serve decent food. I've seen a few shows and some comedy here and always impressed.
