I'm surprised that this place has gotten relatively lackluster reviews because I love this place. I have been here at least three times now and I've never been disappointed. I always come to the heated rooftop area that gives you a great view of both the brightly lit downtown and the hilly Presidio. The drinks are strong and the food is delicious, though both are rather expensive. Come early for dinner and stay for drinks to avoid a huge line to come in. My only complaints would be the really awkward service situation we encountered. They told us that we couldn't order food on the roof top, but the server could take our orders on the roof top, order for us on the second floor, and then bring our food up to us on the roof top. What the hell is the difference then from ordering our food ourselves?

I have been going to San Francisco Bakery for over four years now. If a friend or acquaintance ever asks me if I know a good cafe/deli, this is the place that I Always mentiion first. Although I am always temped to try new things, my favorite thing to get is the turkey on sourdough with All the healthy veggies and some fresh advocado. The bread is made fresh every morning and tastes delicious. Add a side of homemade Clam Chowder for all you soup lovers. The menu is loaded with similar tasty combos. With excellent and prompt service, you won't have to sacrifice taste for time. Make sure to save room for one of their freshly baked cookies.
