Maybe I'm getting too old to be drinking on a Wednesday night, but Starlight Room last night was not awesome.  Years ago, I used to have a ton of fun here, but now, the crowd is terrible.  As a girl, you cannot be left alone for a second, otherwise you'll get pounced by any number of much older men that really have no business being out at midnight on a weeknight.  Girls are way over dressed and in super skanky dresses, and the go-go dancers in Vegas-style costume were over the top. DJ was awesome until he started he started to spastically cut out big chunks of the music.  When no one is singing along, it just sounds terrible.  I won't be coming back.

View -- 5 stars. Burgers -- 5 stars DJ -- upset at the lack of a negative-stars option, and easily pulls the place down to a three-star review. trance at 9pm on a thursday is NEVER welcome. totally decent drinks, okay if fratty crowd, reasonable prices. wandering around the tugboat beside the dock is really good fun.
