by Len L. on Trendy Israeli food at its finest! I have already been to Zahav a few times since it opened last year. I love the food, and I love the fact that they have great vegetarian options for my wife. The atmosphere is excellent. Trendy, upscale decor with comfortable leather chairs and very nice hardwood tables. Though I love this place, I would not recommend this to everyone. People that are only comfortable with Chinese/Italian restaurants will likely be somewhat overwhelmed by some of the exotic spices and menu selections that they will encounter.
by rv l. on BOYCOTT this place!! I went on a SUNDAY night. Dressed in suit and Tie, went and stood in line respectfully for ......2 HRS just to NOT get in! I hope the owners know how HORRIBLE the promoters and door people treated all those who came to they're grand Sunday opening, it was beyond explanation. basically, they turned away a block full of 20-30 dollar heads and ONLY let in people who has supposedly had bottle service. TRASH. Went down to sugar with no problem, had a great time. I wouldnt waste my time to spit at that place.

So we had called several days ahead to confirm our res and to my dismay on the night of...we did not get in. My party and I came at around 10:30 and because none of us spoke Korean...we were kinda just left standing around even though the place was overstaffed (how lame). Ok...so the guy that was suppose to take care of us was called Rambo(??) came out and started slurring in a mass of broken English "ooo so solly...but soo pussie tonight (i think he meant to say busy)..you no call earl-er...no reseveration anymo...solly tooo pussie...nest time i gives you discount...gooda discount" At that point my party and I were pretty upset..but upon hearing his English, none of us could help but break out into hysterics. Although I didn't get into the club, but I did get a pretty good laugh.
