by Claire S. on For as exciting as the idea of a burger boutique is and the amount of hype FLIP has gotten, I don't think I've found JUST the right burger. I've been in a couple times and had the turkey-avocado, the chorizo burger, and the Greek burger. All were good, but none of them have left me begging for more. As far as side dishes, the pork belly macaroni was not too exciting and the pork belly chewy, while the zucchini fries and french fries were only mediocre. What did leave an impression, however, were the unique milkshakes - white-chocolate pistachio (?), Krispy Kreme, and Nutella milkshakes have all been above par. Given the fun atmosphere and delicious milkshakes, I'll make it back a few more times to try and find just the right burger.

I'll admit dinner in bed with a free table at a club that night sounds kinda tight though... The ambiance of this place is.. well European. Mabye it was the hundreds of russians there that night (maybe it was a party?) and maybe it was the look and feel of the dance floor, but it definately wasnt american. You walk past coat check to a big room wiht a huge circular bar in the center. Fear not, there's enough bartenders staffed to get you your dranks quick, and the bathrooms were located on either side. There was a nice sized room with a red light ambiance going on, but it was a private party so i didn't get to see much. The dance floor... ahhh the dance floor. NICE DJ playing... blue lighting behind a white ambiance... surrounded by clean white beds and a huge balcony encompasing it all (complete wiht pretty girls dancing alone up there). definately liked the vibe, the music and the crowd. I only got pushed without an apology ONCE!! new record for a club woohoo!
