I  love this joint!  Outside docor is very cute..coconut trees, tikis for each group to just chill.  They even have hookah sometimes, bbq's, and food outside.  Inside is one large club and upstairs, but most folks just go upstairs to chill.  Gets pretty hot inside the dancefloor, but who cares when you're having fun!

rather than be the 1,154th review, i'll just tell a story from here. I came with a bunch of co-workers.  Not quite blacked out, but definately giving it a sporting run.  Upon arrival, I sat at the nearest table and started chatting up the first group of people I see (3 girls 3 guys i think).  something happened, and someone got me a drink for some reason. I was pleased. I went upstairs and met my co-workers and laughed and played.  Got a drink or someone got me one. I was pleased. Hit on this foreign girl.... australian? and took her hat before a necessary trip to the bathroom. (still pleased) Bathroom has a line.  For the mens  room Displeased. I decide to share my displeasure by attempting a "pee riot" by convincing the line to pee on a tree directly next to the bathroom (or was it a plant?). No one joined in... i was pleased nonethe less. Hit on another foreign girl who complimented my hat.  I promptly gave it to her. super pleased. Went back downstairs to dance with friends.  Somehow end up on my knees on the dancefloor pretending to orally satisfy my friend (non-coworker female) to the beat of the music. she was pleased. Somehow through all of this I didn't get kicked out, yelled at or even talked to by ANYONE; be it the girl who's hat I gave away or the pee in a planter.  Is there any question why this place was top 10 douchiest? hehe... black me out again and I'll probably come back.

I can't talk about the food-- I didn't eat here. I can't talk about the drinks-- I had a couple of beers, but I don't recall what was on tap or what their non-beer selection was, and I didn't have to pay for them. I do know why I was there-- they have small live bands play, and there's no cover charge. I don't see this very often-- maybe I'm going to the wrong places? In my experience, ninety-nine percent of venues (bars, clubs, what-have-you) will suddenly charge a cover to see a band, regardless of size, even though the band will bring in more people, which means more money at the bar. Not so with Club Waziema, and apparently, they do this on a regular basis. So hats off to Waziema.
