A gloriously romantic place, and you would never guess it by looking at the exterior. Romance doesn't have to make you go broke. And thankfully, Jem and the Holograms look-alikes (i.e. the entire Mission population under 25) are allergic to the ambiance here. Oh how I love Rite Spot.

I remembered seeing the Varsity on some food network show years ago and really wanted to try it when I moved here. EVERYONE told me not to bother and no one would go with me. Finally I put my foot down and said I need to try it regardless of what they were saying. When I got there and nothing smelled good, I figured they were right but did not let anything influence me negatively. I took a few bites and realized that what I was eating was tasteless. I was amazed because usually the things that are the worst for us taste the best. I didn't find this to be the case. It seemed like it was horrible for you and tasted bad. I guess there is something nostalgic about this for some. I grew up on White Castle and most people find it absolutely nasty but there is something special there for me. I'll give locals that there may be something special for them because they grew up with it. That is about the only nice thing I can say.

Had a really good time here..= i got totally hammered here... cant be a $7 pitch met alot of cool .. ppl hangin here... very young colleg-y crowd..... drunken... foosball is the BEST..:-P bottom line... go here.. its fun.... and dont need to get too dressed up.. the end
