First, the pros: cool decor and less sketchy people than some of the other bars on sixth street. The cons: REALLY overpriced. Cover charge was $10 and even a simple test tube shot was $3, as compared to most other bars selling them for $1 or $2. Other drinks were expensive as well. After we got in, no one at all was dancing. Tried to go up to the third floor which looked cool from downstairs but apparently it was closed off as the 'VIP Room". Met a couple of guys who said they had to pay about ~$200 to get upstairs! Plenty of booths to sit in but they all said 'reserved'. We sat anyway 'cause we were tired but that's really the only value we got out of our $10. Visit it once to say you've been but in general, not worth it.

After a weak beginning, the bookings have gotten more interesting musically, and event-wise. And so go the bookings, go the crowd. If you want ass, not your spot, but if you're looking for a different type of act that'll push you, this is your spot.
