I feel like this place is a hit or miss - the design is great, but the music and crowd always seems to be different every time i go. I went once on my birthday, and it was practically empty and the music was like 90's jock jams or something - very weird. But on another night it was packed and the music was awesome. So enter at your own risk - maybe you will be pleasantly surprised.

i haven't had such an awesome DJ since... i dunno when. the venue itself is REALLY small, and once it gets crowded, it feels a bit like a mosh pit, and it is HOTTER THAN HELL IN THERE but the music makes it worth it.  lots of hip hop beats, old school and new, with a mix in of michael jackson when the vibe feels a little slow. cover charge of only $5--doesnt get better than that. excellent music!!  i really can't get over how great it was.

This place has come a long way since the days of 70s cover band! Enough variety in case you are not in the mood to be in the mosh pit.  Backroom has potential but just never happening enough. Best place to dance: balcony space on the 2nd floor by coatcheck.
