I have seen many shows large and small over the years including many at the old Knitting Factory space on Leonard St in the 212. Over all a nice venue makes for a nice experience but for me when push comes to shove I am there to see the music. I don't love this space and I don't hate it-it is brand new so that is nice. My friend reported there are THREE bathrooms in a unisex space-the show was not that crowded the night we went but if it was I shudder to think. Will come back for someone I am interested in seeing-wouldn't go out of my way to come here.

Given the number of times I've had the pleasure of frequenting the Hong Kong I'm surprised that I don't remember much else besides the Scorpion bowls (go figure)..... But I always manage to have a better than average time so 4 stars it is. Seriously, its a touch sketchy, but what good bar isn't? The second floor is where its at and its the kind of place I like to go if I'm with a group of people - It's definitely not a place to go out and have a classy night out with just a friend/date.
