by Rogelio Hennig on Each time I have been there I have had a great time. If you go with a group it worth some one sucking up it up and waiting in line early to grab a good table/booth. Cause once you have it, as long as some one is there you can pile your things, and chill. It is a supposed two drink minimum for the table which is really easy to do. Drinks like anywhere in SF are a bit up there but not weak so its fair. The place is sheer elegance, and worth dressing up for. It is deco, elegant, good service through and through to the bathroom (Which has mini vanities and waiting area for us girls plus an attendee. There is a back room that is away from the stage and great for mingling and chatting someone up. They have pretty damn good music, obscure but hot bands I have seen Bajofundo (GO SEE) twice and each time was amazing. The sound is great, the floor is decent and it is such an intimate place. All I wish is more bands played there. Heck it is worth going just for the time warp atmosphere.

If you are curious and want to save yourself from the same fate, read my review on skydive Monterey Bay (AVOID). My friend requested a birthday song for me and everyone sang energetically, would totally come here again to get buzzed on the drinks!
by Rupert Botton on I have a love/hate relationship with this place.... The first time I came here was for a coworkers birthday dinner. The food was so-so, Drinks were yummy, and service was pretty good. So my coworker decided to stay for the club. What a great decision! The hip hop room has a very interesting decor and the music was great. So overall it was a GOOD night. Second time I came here was for another birthday dinner. The night started out the same..Food was so-so, service was great but the drinks this time was weak.....I mean WEAK!!!!! The first time I was here I was buzzed off of one drink, this time it took at least 3. Strike #1 So when all the girls are nice and liquored up. We proceed downstairs to the dance floor. Everything was great until we got gang up by a group of guys. And boys when a girl says "NO" she means NO, not rub on my A$$ some more. Strike #2 The "Hip-Hop" room got so stuffy and humid that I can actually see sweat/water dripping down the "cave" walls....ewwwww.... Strike #3 and I'M OUT!!!!!!, So overall, I'm not sure about this place...Maybe I will give it a 3rd try but not anytime soon....
