This place, been around for sooo Long. 20 yrs ago, was OK, unfortunately due to the times, location, near public transportation, urban city, it has become what it is. Can't be upscale, or whatever, people around there, low income, not into LV, Pottery Barn, Ferragamo. It is what it is, not for most of us, but for center city, it is able to adapt to the changing times, for its place, sells products for what the people want. I went there when I was in college, back then it was slowly on decline , getting worse, worse.Think went in there like one time, ran in , got something , ran out. Police were chasing some knuckle heads, just became Ghetto. But -for the fact its able to keep vendors open, means some one buying the items there.

one of the worst clubs i've been to so far, if not the worst. the line was crazy long over 45 mins wait. and it is so packed inside you can't even dance. i was soaked with sweat 5 mins in and it wasn't even my sweat, it was from the people around me, because it was packed like a sardine can. the music was ok, some of it was weird and not club type of music and some were decent. one thing i liked about it though, is the club has seats all around the sides so if you get tired you can sit. other than that i give it five thumbs down.

The concept of Thai followed by sushi, or vice versa, isn't exactly mouthwatering. But thankfully you don't have to have both. I opted for the Thai on both of my visits: pad thai on the first and the cashew nut on the second. The pad thai was significantly better than the cashew nut--sweet and warm and spicy, and with the soft crunch of ground peanuts. The cashew nut came with beef and onions and peppers bathed in a chili sauce which left a little to be desired. A sauce should set the dish apart, wrapping all of its elements together in a flavorful theme, but this chili sauce was too weak to turn the trick. The atmosphere is better than most--they've managed to create ambiance with a darker palette, low lights, and candles. No fancy furniture or fixtures. It reminds you that it's possible to do more with less. The service was fine, nothing exceptional, but combined with the ambiance and quality food, this is a smart and solid alternative to the higher priced and trendier Asian eateries around town.
