It was kinda empty on a warm Friday night. We were seated promptly next to the tastefully naked statues in the back (don't get the décor but whatev). Really cool old building that I'm pretty sure is real old and not fake old, like much of that strip of Highland Ave. The servers were very accommodating and double-checked with the chef on what our gluten-challenged friend could not eat. They happily offered substitutions as well. They immediately poured our wine (no corkage fee if you buy from Hall's across the street!) and presented warm soft bread and creamy butter. The savory crawfish & pecan cheesecake (sounds crazy, I know) was fluffy and not too rich. The fried chicken batter was a little too thick for my liking but had a nice kick to it. I was way too involved with my food to remember his stuffed catfish but he seemed happy with it. Bakery/market downstairs looked oh-so-cute, so mental note to try soon. We didn't have anything particularly Cajun/Creole, mostly influenced rather than authentic, but I liked. Great prices, playful dishes, and amazing service will bring me back.

What can I say? the place to go late night when your leaving whatever party your at and you don't want to go home. I've never been that fond of after hour clubs but I like this place. I've only been there twice but both times there was a cool crowd, good music (definite plus) and everyone was serious about dancing and having fun! Luckily it didn't have that trippy, glow stick crowd...at least not when I was there. Keep those feet dancing people! I will go back!
