by Nick D. on Went here for NYE 2011. I was fortunate to have comped VIP tickets which gave access to the upstairs room. They had tray passed appetizers, a comped top shelf bar, couches, a private bathroom & a second DJ. Evian Water hosted it and had a cool photo studio set up to use. The bouncers were respectful & the bartenders attentive. Ive been to big all-inclusive NYE events before and when offered the tickets, I was hesitant, but Playhouse exceeded all expectations - at least in the VIP room. However, downstairs was a crowded mess with huge lines for the bar, uncomfortably overcrowded, and bouncers who were clearly tired of dealing with so many people. Spent about 60 seconds down there and hated every minute.
by Mike Jaxon on GREAT club, beautiful dancers, fantastic waitress-long haired blue eyed beauty-kept me laughing and drinks full all night, enjoyed her smile and class.
Classy place for sure.
by Tulie L. on Was able to check out Fado because of cool rateclubser's Gretchen, Colleen, Adam, and German Christine. The place is located in what seems to be a constructing area, and parking as well as Valet Parking are both 5.00 so why not valet? The place is Very Buckhead with people dressed to impress, and it just didn't feel like a local cool chill bar, people were just trying too hard, but it was fun to watch all the wanna be party people come out from the OTP.. I had the stongbow cider beer which was pretty sweet and yummy, and it was a pretty big glass. Would I choose to come here regularly.. nah.. I'm more of a Brickstore pub or cypress kind of girl. I thought the 5 buck parking or valet was a bit ridiculous especially for a Irish Pub.. this is not a nice restaurant, and I am down for Valet, just calm down with the 5.00 charge- just made the experience that less attractive.
