People who rate this place with anything over 2 stars must be an out of towner or new to the club scene (just turned 21) because this place is down right hood with a classy look. The night I came here, we had just got in, finally found a place to stand amongst the dinner tables, smh, and next thing I know Im being rushed by a crowd of people fighting ot find their way to the EXIT because a frickin fight broke out, and people thought someone was firing shots off in the club. Turns out some man attacked a woman with a champagne bottle and split her head open with a bottle. The ambulance, fire department, and police were called. Some people left, some fools decided to stay and pay to get BACK in because they got caught up in the crowd that was rushing out, I for one, was one of the ones who decided to leave....and never come back. Granted, this was two years ago, but I doubt the clientle has gotten any classier over time. Save your money and self worth. Go elsewhere.
by Dori Candler on i think this place is cool place for clubbing, but i am not sure about the actual restaurant part though. huge dance floor and good crowd. there are actually a lot of good looking guys that went there the night i went, which is always a plus ;). occassionally there were some losers who will it was fun that a large number of people dancing and most people dance pretty well. the place is huge... i was on the 2nd floor most of the time, but i did go downstairs to the first floor briefly. parking sux though. bathroom has huge lines because it is small and its pretty dirty as the night go on. i heard that asian singers sometimes show up to kress on asian nights. thats pretty cool. i'd like to go sometime so i can get some autographs without traveling to asia.

I'm not a creeper kind've guy either. The 6one7 guys at the door take pride it seems in remembering their returning guests, and get you right in. Then when you're inside, it's great music to dance to, great times & insanely beautiful women everywhere you look. If it's not your scene, you can't manage a small relationship with a doorman week after week & the cover is too high - then check out The Kells in Allston. It's cheaper and they'll treat you like you're in college at the door instead. For the record: I hate covers & high priced drinks as well, but c'mon... ...Paul Pierce, the Red Sox, or some A-List celebs are generally inside. This isn't a place you just grab a beer after work. It's a night out, and a fun experience if you plan your night accordingly! I LOVE Rumor on Tuesday nights!
