I've only been to this place on Latino night (Saturdays) but it was actually really fun. When we got there (around 10:00pm), there was no one there! But after about half hour or so, there was a good group of people. This place is really small but it's so dark that it seems bigger. There is valet parking for $3 which is good because there is NO WHERE to park. Do NOT park at Walgreens across the street.e.. they will tow you! It happened to us once. Make sure you dance... if you don't dance, you're wicked lame because EVERYONE dances. If everyone is dancing, that means you have to too. The drinks were really strong too. That's probably why I decided on 4 stars. That and all the really hot Latino guys. Declicioso!

I hit up Cafe du Nord with the roomie for the Phosphorescent headliner show with The Donkeys (who were totally awesome) and White Swan Black Swan last night. The place is swanky. Great atmosphere, very spacious and excellent acoustics. The bar is fully stocked with just about everything you can imagine, including a few sour-faced bartenders. :/ Now I don't know if it's just bitterness that comes with not having a lovelife of my own, but the couples-to-singles ratio seemed unusually high last night. At times I felt like I was at the AVN awards with all the slurping and sloshing going on around me. Mild PDA is alright, but please people... control yourselves (or bring a splatter guard) and stay stationary! And keep your hands where I can see them! Cheers.
