ok, listen up sullivan room patrons....more dancing, less parking on the dancefloor. when you are paying $30 to see mark farina or miguel migs, get the most of it and dance your ass off! otherwise, you are fucking up my rhythm and i don't appreciate it. this place is good when the djs are good. they get some big names here and the sound system is...ok. it gets hot, you will sweat. drinks are reasonably priced. no dress code. people are fairly chill. overall a great place to put that 9 to 5 up on a shelf and just enjoy yourself.

Clubs in SF are sooooo hit or miss, it's ridiculous. Absolutely no reliability whatsover. That said, the handful of times I've been here, I've had a great time. Once in a while a girl's gotta dance- and being from LA, I also crave a little bit of a scene. Yes, I'll admit it. It's part of the allure of going out! C'mon, we all look for it on occasion- an excuse to get the best heels out, makeup on and booty shaking! Anyway, I'll stop being defensive. So, Slide, is fun. As usual, if you're a girl, you can slide on it- and then, literally, slide on down. Although I wouldn't recommend doing this post-bar because I did and then ate shit. Made for some great photo ops though. Once downstairs, there are two main sections- one thats more lounge with tables- and one by the bar with a dance floor. The usual- top 100, 80s hits, hip hop etc. If it's girls night out, and we're all fired up for some dancing and a long evening- then this wouldn't be a bad stop to start our night.
