Too small, 90% tables which is not bad if you're getting a table, and they let people smoke inside...I would have given it a better review if it wasn't the fact that they were allowing people to smoke inside.  There's an outdoor patio with tables/couches all aligned for smokers.  I felt like I was in a giant smoke box!  The music was decent.

I have been a couple of times as it is my new favorite bar in LA.  Why? The music, the lighting, the decor provide a perfect mood for unwinding with friends and enjoying some fine suds on tap.  The selections of wine and beer have been carefully curated (usually including a tasty Eagle Rock brewery selection) by an affable and knowledgeable owner/bartender.  It is like Verdugo in its beer-snob -appeal minus the crowd, the surgically enhanced bar maids, flat-screens projecting requisite hipster approved cult movies, and a DJ drowning any chance of conversation with some precious Hall and Oates remix (I have nothing against Hall and Oates enjoyed at a reasonable volume) .  If you appreciate understated elegance this is the place for you.  If not, go to any other hipster bar on the Eastside.
