I have attended this establishment a few times (friends choice for a night out) and on EVERY occasion was given incorrect change, amounting to a significant amount of money if not checked. In each case it was the server, not the bartenders right at the bar. Be very careful. The girls are attractive overall, but they are very persistent about buying drinks.

Lacks class. Girls and floormen will try to scam and take advantage of you. Save your time and money and steer clear of Solid Platinum, unless you like to burn money. p.s. girls arent that hot, some are in fact repulsive

I love this club. I have been to this place multiple times for Tainted Love and then back when Silversun Pickups and Metric were doing the free concerts for Verizon Droid users (not a droid user, just lurked around with my concert buddy and got in for free). For one thing, Tainted Love is awesome here, but the bathroom lady once complained how Tainted Love fans were some of the worst concerts to work and after going to SSPU, I can see why. Completely different vibe. With that said, I still love this place. I love that walk in and feel like I am looking at something from the set of the Rocketeer (dont judge me I love that movie). Monster dance floor space with table seating on the side. If you are seeing a show here, there really is no problem getting close up and hanging. It's one of those venues that is big, but still small and quaint. I would absolutely love to come when a big band or blues band is playing and dance. I think that would just put the whole thing in full circle.

As a former regular from several years ago when it was under different management, the new place sucks. I will never be back. Was there for 15 minutes before having to flag down a server, to order two bottles of water, (I was the dd and wife was needing water due to drinks from another club). Cost $8 for 2-8 oz bottles of water, which we were told we could not leave with. It was too crowded for our taste, and they have done away with half of their VIP seating from before. Also on the night we went, the audio system sounded like crap, and the dj never stopped talking. We miss the days of Solid Platinum. The girls however, were attractive.
