Massachusetts is a state that is known more for its taverns than its nightclubs. Indeed, taverns make up an important part of major cities such as Boston. However, even the taverns in Massachusetts are known for producing high quality music. One thing that should be noted about the state of Massachusetts is that a large segment of the population there are college students in their 20s. This means that there is a prominent nightlife available that will naturally cater to their tastes. Another thing that is important to remember about Massachusetts is that the state features early parties. The primary goal of most college students here is to drink alcohol, and there is plenty of it available.
Most of the taverns and bars will close after 1 am. If you plan to visit Boston, the largest city in the state, you will want to head to Lansdowne Street to look for the best bars and clubs. Another place where you can find some pretty good clubs is Fenway Park. In fact, some of the best nightspots in the state can be found in this area. The good news about the clubs in Massachusetts is that they are all close to each other, especially in the larger cities. This is great during winter, as it can be tedious to drive to clubs that are widely spaced out during a snowstorm. Another interesting feature about Massachusetts are the sing along piano bars. Some of the clubs are so large that you will be quite amazed.
